KBTB Treasury and Foreign Exchange Services

KBTB Treasury and Foreign Exchange Services provide a starting point for U.S. businesses to discuss cash-flow timing, short-term liquidity, and exposure to foreign currencies. Contact KBTB to confirm which services it currently offers directly or through an identified, appropriately authorized provider.

Services to discuss

Depending on availability and eligibility, a treasury discussion may cover U.S. dollar cash-management options, business deposit products, U.S. Treasury securities or other fixed-income investments, and foreign-exchange transactions such as spot conversions or hedging contracts. Not every product is available through every institution, and some investments or contracts may be offered by a separate broker, dealer, or other provider.

Before you request a proposal

  • Set out the business need. Describe expected cash balances, payment timing, currencies, transaction size, and when funds may be needed.
  • Ask who provides the product. Confirm the legal institution or counterparty, its role, any intermediary, and the agreement that governs the transaction.
  • Compare costs and liquidity. Request all fees, spreads, minimums, settlement dates, withdrawal or sale conditions, and any early termination costs.
  • Understand investment and contract risks. Fixed-income securities can involve interest-rate, credit, inflation, and liquidity risk; a market value can change before maturity. Foreign-exchange forwards, swaps, and options can create material obligations and may not suit every business.
  • Review disclosures and authority. Confirm whether a product is a bank deposit, security, or derivative; whether it is FDIC-insured; who may approve transactions for your company; and what tax or accounting review is needed.
  • Obtain written terms before acting. Have authorized officers review and sign the final agreement only after the amount, price, maturity, settlement mechanics, and risk disclosures are understood.

Client next step

Contact KBTB through its official website to arrange a treasury discussion and request the current product list and disclosures. For independent information on bond products and their risks, see Investor.gov’s fixed-income overview.

Availability, eligibility, pricing, approval, and terms depend on KBTB’s current offering and written agreements. Confirm the legal provider and all U.S. requirements before proceeding. Securities and derivatives are not deposits and may not be FDIC-insured; verify the product and provider before investing.
